It's time for Nigeria to get its version of BK Chat LDN as the UK show expands to North America.

The latest episode of this season's BK Chat LDN is lit...as usual.

Yesterday, the BK Chat gang spoke about what would they do if the person they are seeing 'smells down there.'

Trust, all guns were blazing on this one. Of course, Nunu (the resident trash talker) had to give us a piece of information that was too much.

Since the last episode dropped yesterday, Wednesday, May 10, 2017, BK Chat LDN has been trending on Naija Twitter. The weekly show has gone from a staple of urban British pop culture to highlight of Twitter gist over here.

A lot of people are tuned into the show these days, from social media influencer and man about town Bizzle to rapper Olamide who shared a clip of the show on his SnapChat.

Even popular Instagram mimic Maraji has released a parody clip of some of the popular cast members of BK Chat LDN. The web series that encourages open discussions on love, sex, relationship and finances has taken the world by storm.

The creator of the show Andy Amadi revealed on his Twitter account on May 1, 2017, that BK Chat is hitting the United States. Auditions for the show have already started.

Since BK Chat LDN has a few Nigerians in it, Esther Falana and Lucas Adeyefa especially, we are wondering if BK Chat Naija can ever happen?

People who are fans of the show here in Nigeria are here for it. On Twitter, we already speak about these issues. Yesterday, the TL was all in flames about women not giving men gifts. We could easily talk about this on BK Chat Naija.

On the other side of things, it is easier to talk about sex and relationships behind a tiny avatar on an app in your smartphone. Appearing on TV and talking about getting head on your period is another thing entirely.

Putting your face out there and talking about sensitive topics might be an obstacle to BK Chat Naija if it ever happens. Remember, Nigeria is still conservative and talking about certain topics openly is not yet cool.

BK Chat is clearly a phenomenon which might fit into the Nigeria youth culture. How far it will go in the larger context, we will not know.
