Stretching may ease women's depression and menopause symptoms

43% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters have all advised Linda to divorce her husband since he has turned her into a punching bag.

Linda and Tunde have been married for 10 years with three children and all those years, they have been living in peace until he turned into a wild beast.

In the past two years, Tunde has turned Linda into a punching bag, beating her at will and at the slightest provocation.

But the worse of it all is that he has decided to disgrace her in public by stripping her naked and beating her in front of neighbours.

Read her story here.

"My name is Linda, a 32-year-old married woman with three children. I have been married for 10 years now but with the way my husband treats me, I don't think I can cope any longer because my life is in danger.

When I got married to Tunde, he was one of the nicest men I had ever met and the fact that I was not Yoruba did not matter to him because he showed me so much love and care.

I felt very safe and protected being with him and over the years, he proved to be a loving husband and father to our kids.

But I don't what got into my husband for two years now because he has turned me into a punching bag, getting angry over every little thing and pouring out his anger on me.

I know things have not been going too well for him at work with the present recession in the country but instead of talking out issues with me like he used to do, he seems to think I am the one bringing him bad luck and beats me up at the slightest provocation.

The worst of it is that he not only beats me inside out apartment but takes delight in beating me in public and on two occasions, he stripped me naked while neighbours looked on.

The first time, I had on my wrapper with nothing underneath when he stripped me naked in the full glare of the neighbours.

The second time, he chased me out of the room and when he caught up with me, he tore my clothes leaving me only in my underwear. It took the intervention of neighbours to save me from death that day.

many of my friends have told me to leave Tunde for my safety but I keep wondering what could have made him turn into a wife beater just like.

My other fear is what will happen to my children if I leave. Should I stay and see how we can sort out whatever issue is wrong or run for my life?

Linda."

The teaser for the day was:

What would you do if you were in Linda's shoes?
