Auhioboh said that he was arrested with a large quantity of materials for production of adulterated olive oil.
A Grade 1 Area Court, Karmo, Abuja, on Wednesday sentenced one Cyril Ehirinne to three months imprisonment for being in possession of adulterated products.
The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, however gave the convict N20,000 option of fine.
Ehirinne who resides at Mararaba, Nasarawa State, was convicted on a count charge levelled against him.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Florence Auhioboh, had told the court that CSP Isah Adejo, Task Force Commander, arrested and took the convict to Utako Police Station Abuja, on April 27.
Auhioboh said that he was arrested with a large quantity of materials for production of adulterated olive oil.
The prosecutor said during police investigation, the convict could not give any satisfactory account of his actions.
Auhioboh said that the offence contravened Section 95 of the Penal Code.
