The 52-year-old widow, Kudirat Adebayo, who murdered by policemen while chasing after a suspected Internet fraudster popularly called Yahoo-Boy, has been buried amidst tears and sorrow.
In an emotional atmosphere where her two children and other relations cried uncontrollably, the murdered petty trader was laid to rest in her family compound in the Mushin area of Lagos State on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

In attendance at the wedding was the State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni who assured the family that they will surely get justice while the killers will be prosecuted.
Adebayo who fried yam cakes at the Onipanu Toll Gate area of Mushin was shot to death by a stray bullet fired by a member of a police team pursuing the suspect on April 4.
The incident set up a lot of anger in the area with the residents spoiling for war, demanding that the killer police officers be handed over to them for instant justice.

The protesters had dumped the corpse of the deceased at the Olosan Police Station which led to a melee where many residents were injured, while three people sustained gunshot injuries and were rushed to different hospitals for treatment.

The three policemen alleged to have been involved in the killing of the widow were said to have been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, where they were detained.
