The Abia State Police Command have arrested two child trafficking suspects who attempted to sell a 4-year-old boy for N100,000.
According to reports, the suspects, Rowland Egbe, and Chioma Ohajinmmadu, lured the child using biscuits.
Leye Oyebade, the state police commissioner said the first suspect, Rowland Egbe was arrested at Obehie in Ukwa West Council, while taking the abducted boy to a buyer.
Egbe then led the police to his accomplice after an interrogation by the police.

It has been a long time coming for the suspects as the first suspect confessed to have sold a female child to Ohajinmmadu who paid a sum of N50,000 for the child.
According to the second suspect, her foiled attempt to buy the 4-year-old boy was borne out of her desire to have a male child, having only had female children.
