The robbery suspects confessed to being part of a group that specializes in the theft of tricycles in the state.
A local security team, Diobu Vigilante Volunteer Group (DVVG), has arrested two suspected robbers who specialize in stealing tricycles in Rivers State.
The suspects, Musa Yahuza and Afgha Sadi confessed to the crime after their arrest.
They pleaded with the DVVG to pardon them, adding that they were introduced to the act by two other suspects who escaped being captured.

Prince Amatari Bipeledei, the secretary of the vigilante group their claim when he said, “The arrested suspects confessed that they were lured financially by the two other suspects still at large”.
Reiterating the claim, the suspects mentioned that were paid to drive the stolen tricycle, stating that they were not aware the DVVG was in pursuit.
