Nigerians took the appearance of the Lunar Eclipse with some funny anecdotes to it.
The much anticipated Lunar Eclipse must have come and gone but Nigerians, being who they are, turned the appearance (or non-appearance), into a funny banter on social media.

It all started when some places like Lagos did not experience the phenomenon at about 7.15am as predicted by the National Space Research and Development Agency (NSRDA), and jibes started flowing.
It was common to see such:
'Who has kidnapped our eclipse?'
'The economy has forced the eclipse to run to Ghana o'
'The eclipse fears being tainted by corruption'
'The eclipse has been held by traffic'
'The eclipse has been padded o

Though there were reports of the eclipse being sighted in places like Abuja, Kano, Osun and Port Harcourt, the fun moved over to Twitter with many funny comments taking center stage.
