The Nigerian Navy is making success in its fight against maritime criminals after announcing that it has arrested seven oil thieves in Delta State.
This information was disclosed by Commodore Christian Ezekobe, the Director of Information of the force, who mentioned that the suspects were captured on September 7, 2016, at Sara Creek, located in the State, Daily Post reports.

The Navy assault team seized items such as one speed boat, a Cotonou boat carrying 15×10,000 liters and 2 x 5000 liters GP tanks laden with suspected illegally refined Automotive Gas oil, from the criminals.
They also destroyed three Cotonou boats laden with an unquantified stolen crude oil, according to a statement made by Commodore Ezekobe.
