Pulse Nigeria: Rich Tanksley takes on new role as consultant and ambassador

Mr. Tanksley joined Pulse in early 2015 and has helped grow it to one of the largest digital media companies in Nigeria.

Pulse Nigeria announces that Rich Tanksley will transition out of his full-time role as CEO of Pulse Nigeria over the next few months.

Mr. Tanksley joined Pulse in early 2015 and has helped grow it to one of the largest digital media companies in Nigeria.

Mr. Tanksley will take on a new role with Ringier Africa as a consultant and ambassador charged with helping Ringier grow existing and new properties on the continent.

Philippe Greinacher, currently Co Product Manager Pulse Ghana, will act as Director Sales and Partnerships Pulse Nigeria and Pulse Ghana and help continue to grow the company.

Outside of running Pulse Nigeria, Mr. Tanksley also plays the role as Josef on the iRokoTV series Husbands of Lagos and has been in several other Nollywood movies like Remember Me and The Guardian.

He plans to continue making cameo appearances in Nollywood films and serve as a connector between Pulse and Nollywood.

Ringier Nigeria is owned by Ringier AG, the largest and oldest media company in Switzerland. Founded in 1833, Ringier owns media properties across Europe and Asia.

In Africa, Ringier has properties in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Nigeria.
