Zainab Salisu, had been arrested by the men f the Nigerian police after she allegedly disguised as a customer to abduct a one-year-old girl, Fehintola Lawal, in the Abule Egba area of Lagos State.
According to a report by Punch Newspaper, Salisu was arrested on Wednesday by policemen in Idimu area of Lagos State after a Closed Circuit Television Camera at a supermarket in the Abule Egba captured her escaping with the one-year-old girl on her back.
The report further revealed that Salisu, who had earlier identified herself as Mama Oyin, disguised as a customer and allegedly abducted Fehintola in the Abule Egba area on Monday, May 16, 2016.
After her arrest, Salisu was alleged to have confessed to abducting the toddler claiming she wanted to make the toddler hers.
However, it was learnt that another toddler was found and rescued alongside Fehintola at Salisu's alleged hideout in Idimu area of Lagos State.
While confirming the incident and subsequent arrest of the alleged child abductor, the police spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos, said that Fehintola had been reunited with her family members.
