What steps would you take if your husband's mistress beats you up and also threatens your life?
"Dear Pulse,
My name is Rosemary Enyioma and I have been married for six years with two children. Though I have been hearing how my husband has been cheating on me with different women, I have never caught him and the stories never disturbed me because what the eye do not see, the heart does not grieve about.
But all that changed two weeks ago when a woman came to my home with two thugs, and beat the living daylights out of me. I was in the kitchen preparing dinner when I heard loud knocks on the door. When I went to open it, this woman an hr thugs bashed in.
I asked her who she was and what she was doing barging into my house that way, when she told me that my husband was her man friend and that she has a child for my husband but he refused to marry her because of me.
I did not quite get what she was driving at. What was my business with what she and my husband did? But before I could react, the woman had landed a slap on my face, with the thugs joining in, dealing with me severely.
Before she left, she warned me that she would come back for me if my husband refuses to marry her.
When my husband came back and I reported the matter to him, he told me he would take care of the matter but till now, the woman has been calling me to threaten my life.
My people have advised me to report the assault to the police but I fear it would also affect my husband negatively.
What steps do you think I should take to stop this woman from continuing to harass me?
