A 24-year-old woman has been arraigned in court for allegedly dipping her fingers into a 5-year-old's private parts.
For allegedly dipping her fingers into the private parts of a five-year-old girl, a 24-year-old woman, Nwakaego Ugochukwu, has been dragged before an Ikeja Magistrates' Court sitting in Lagos State, Vanguard reports.

Ugochukwu, a factory worker, was alleged to have defiled the girl at her residence at Canal Estate, Ago Okota area of the state, on May 5, 2016, when she lured the girl who is the child of her neighbour, into her room and dipped her fingers into her vagina.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Eruada Victor, told the court that Ugochukwu was reported to the police after the minor reported to her parents and she was duly arrested and charged on two counts.
Victor added that the offences contravened Sections 259 and 261 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos.

After she pleaded not guilty to the charges, the Magistrate, Mr E.O. Ogunkanni, granted Ugochukwu bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum, while adjourning the case till June 15 for hearing.
