A student of a university in Anambra State has been reportedly beaten to death by the anti-cult group of the school.
A student of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, formerly Anambra State University (ANSU), Uli campus, Michael Ndirika, has been reportedly beaten to death by an anti-cult group that operates in the institution.
According to his friends who made the incident known, Ndirika was picked up by the group without informing him of his crimes, and proceeded to brutalize him until he gave up the ghost.
In the aftermath of the murder of the boy, other students mobilized and rioted on the campus to show their displeasure on the way their colleague was beaten to death, before they were persuaded to calm down by the school authorities.
