A teenage boy has committed suicide after a quarrel with his elder sister.
A 15-year-old boy identified as Obinna, has committed suicide by drinking a poisonous insecticide known as Sniper after a quarrel with his elder sister, in Dutse, a satellite community in Abuja, th Federal Capital Territory, Daily Trust reports.

It was gathered that in the heat of the quarrel, the deceased who lived with the married sister and her family, dashed out of the house after the quarrel and later came back vomiting in front of the house.
The noise attracted the sister who rushed out to see what happened to him and why he was vomiting.
It was learnt that initially when the sister asked him what the matter was, he could not say anything but later, pulled out the container of the insecticide from his pocket and handed it over to the sister.
He was thereafter, rushed to a private hospital in Kubwa, but he gave up the ghost before they could get to the hospital.

Confirming the incident, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), in charge of the Dutsen Alhaji Division, CSP Aisha Yusuf, said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the hospital's morgue.
