The female driver was approaching the popular Bodija market, when a motorcyclist veered into her path unexpectedly causing her to run off the road and hit a house fence.
Tragedy was averted in Bodija, Ibadan, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, when a female car driver, identified as Alhaja, made a timely decision to run off the road in order avoid hitting a motorcyclist.
As a result, Alhaja, who was driving a Toyota Camry vehicle, ran into a building fence, which unavoidably damaged her car.
Fortunately, the occupants of the vehicle were unhurt, but they suffered from great shock, according to Punch.
The accident scene witnesses mentioned that the driver had just left her residence, which is 500 meters away from where the incident occurred.

She was negotiating a bend that will connect her to Bodija market, when a motorcyclist rode into her path unexpectedly.
When a policeman approached one of the occupants of the house that was damaged, the person said that Alhaja is a neighbour, and that the matter will be settled amicably.
“The owner of the car is a neighbour. When a policeman approached the scene, we told him that it was a matter that would be amicably settled since there was no one injured in the house,” the occupant told Punch.
Alhaja was in her car with a young passenger when the accident happened.
