A man has made a vow to quit stop patronising Pepsi after a sad encounter with the soft drink brand.
Following a disappointing customer experience, a man identified as D' Show, has given up his love for Pepsi after finding a used straw in a cocked bottle.
He took to Instagram on Monday, April 16, 2018, to share concerns which bothered on proper hygiene which he believed had escaped the attention of the manufacturers.
An interest in ensuring protection from diseases seemed the main motivation for D' Show who observed that the global soft drink brand may be failing in the aspect of cleanliness.
"I needed a drink yesterday after a long day and I asked a drink vendor to gimme my usual bottle of Pepsi to my chagrin I found a used straw inside inside the factory cocked bottle of pepsi and I felt bad that this is not hygienic enough.
"It shows @Pepsi_naija does not wash their bottle well from the factory before refilling.
"I want to advise the company not to leave any stone untouched when producing.
"They should protect their customers; first taking healthy measures so we won't contact disease and other infections through their products.
"Now I have officially stopped taking @pepsi_naija drinks," D' Show wrote on his Instagram.
Attached to his post was a short video that saw him reiterate his concerns.

“I was in China to learn how to mix and produce wines and hot drinks and when I got back to Nigeria in 2015, I started my own business in Nnewi, Anambra state.
"I had to relocate to Lagos to start afresh when my factory got burnt,” Ojukwu confessed.
During his confession, Ojukwu also said that he has been refilling branded bottles with his own products to ensure more patronage from customers, as he has been unable to promote his brand.
When asked he planned to achieve his dream as a wine maker, the 55-year-old suspect noted that he planned to make enough profit from his sales of adulterated drinks before marketing his brand.
