The beautiful marriage between the Monarch and his beautiful Olori is in turmoil

The Ooni of Ife has come out to debunk rumours that have been spreading like wild fire that his marriage has crashed beyond redemption.

Following rumours that his 17 months old marriage to Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi has crashed beyond redemption, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, has debunked the stories, saying his marriage is intact.

The First Class monarch who reacted to the viral rumours on the social media and conventional media said such stories are untrue and were mere noise and speculations spread by nonentities.

In a statement signed by the Ooni's media aide, Comrade Moses Olafara, the traditional ruler said:

“There is no truth to the news; it is unimaginable. We would issue a statement on the matter soon. The palace is not interested in this rumour as there are lots of positive activities happening every minute so we don’t have time to respond to such noise being created by nonentities.”

Recall that in the past few days, the media sphere has been awashed with the story that the marriage between the Ooni and the Edo State-born Olori which was contracted on March 12, 2016, has collapsed due to irreconcilable differences bordering on infidelity.

It was gathered that the stylish Olori had been running from pillar to post, including going to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, to intervene in the crisis rocking the marriage, to no avail.

In fact, it was also revealed that the Ife Traditional Council had already lined up a befitting bride for the Ooni to replace Queen Wuraola as the King cannot stay without a Queen which would be against the tradition of the land.
