The poverty rate in Nigeria is at 33% with the unemployment rate at 21%. On the other hand, Nigeria boasts of one of the richest women in the world Folorunsho Alakija and also one of the richest men in the world Aliko Dangote.
Nigeria is home to many millionaires and billionaires and these wealthy people have kids who enjoy the trappings of their wealth and status.
The kids of rich Nigerians enjoy the good life, expensive luxury cars, foreign trips, fairy tale like weddings, boat cruises, private jets, hanging out with international stars and enjoy the skyline of world famous cities.

1) Paddy Adenuga
Son of Nigerian millionaire Mike Adenuga, Paddy now lives abroad and enjoys a luxurious lifestyle with his white (and expensive) Mercedes Benz.
He rubs shoulders with some of Nigeria's wealthiest and attends fancy costume parties.
2) DJ Cuppy
Daughter to Nigerian oil magnate Femi Otedola, Cuppy is a DJ and a fixture in Nigeria's social elite scene. Cuppy loves to be in a Mercedes Benz G-Class whether in Lagos or London.
She travels around the globe, Paris, New York, Dubai and enjoys the jet life. She likes diamonds too (which girl doesn't), hangs around top UK rappers and also dates Nigerian footballer Victor Anichebe.
3) Temi Otedola
The younger sister of DJ Cuppy, Temi is a fashionista and blogger.
Dual citizenship, enjoying the New York skyline, having expensive theme parties and travelling the world are her perks. Temi is presently dating Nigerian breakout star Eazi.
4) The Mbadiwe Twins
Ozee and OC come from serious old money. If their surname is familiar it's because the popular Ozumba Mbadiwe road is named after their grandfather who was once Minister of Commerce in Nigeria in 1957.
His grandsons were featured in the Channel 4 documentary about wealthy Nigerians. Their Instagram is filled with designer clothes, boat trips and vintage expensive cars. There is nothing better than old money.
5) Adama Indimi
Heiress to Nigerian business mogul Mohammed Indimi, Adama doesn't only come from wealth but wealth from the Northern part of Nigeria which is home to many of the country's richest men.
Her Instagram account is a tasty and classy display of class and wealth. She doesn't show off much but a closer look at her pictures and you will see she's from a wealthy home.
Palatial estates, fairy tell weddings, and vacations to exotic places are part of Adama's princess' lifestyle. She once dated Nigerian pop star D'banj.
5) Bukunyi Olateru-Olagbegi
He comes from a royal family in Ondo state. BK as he famously goes is said to have interests in oil and gas. His Instagram account shows he has his sights on politics.
When not speaking to the country's biggest politicians he is in private jets and walking the streets of Venice.
