A Unilag student has reportedly committed suicide after being publicly shamed by her room and hostel mates for stealing.
A 100-level Business Administration student of University of Lagos (UNILAG), has reportedly committed suicide after being publicly shamed by her roommates.
The sad incident was shared on a Facebook by one Ajani Damilola who is also a student of the school.

According to the Facebook post, the deceased Ariyibi Ayomide, an Employee Relations and Human Resources Management major was accused of stealing a makeup kit and clothes from one of her roommates in the Amina hostel of Unilag.
After the items were reportedly found in her possession, her roommates and others residents of the hostel publicly shamed her even after her mother was called to settle the matter.
Ayomide reportedly packed her belongings and went back home with her mother but as soon as her mom who is a staff of the school, returned to work, Ayomide chose to take her own life.
Her mother returned to discover that she had drunk from a bottle of sniper and despite being rushed to the hospital, Ayomide could not be saved.
