A Ghanaian man of God and a marriage counselor said God and the Bible did not condemn prostitution.
A popular man of God in Ghana, Rev. Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, has debunked the long-held belief that prostitution and pre-marital sex is wrong when he pronounced that the Bible does not condemn prostitution.

According to Latest Ghana News, Rev. Lutterodt, who is also a relationship and marriage counselor, said during an interview with a radio station in that country that virginity is a burden and that ladies should not keep it till they are married as they have to enjoy sex before they get married.
“The Bible does not condemn prostitution, so God does not also. Even virginity is a burden. Eight out of ten men won’t want to have virgins because virgins are burdens,” he reportedly said.
Rev. Lutterodt who is known for his maverick and outlandish ways was also quoted as saying that even as a man of God, he dated and had sex with 32 ladies before he got married to his wife.
He added that it was important for him to date many women so as to make an informed decision on whom to marry.
“I dated 32 ladies before I finally got married to my wife. I started dating at age 27. I am not opposed to those who indulge in sexual activities while dating.
If you’re a lady and someone has sex with you while you are dating, then he has called you a prostitute because it’s a wrong practice.”

However, many people in his country have been condemning the man of God over his statements with some seeing him as a bad influence to the youths by always promoting immorality.
