BK Chat LDN wraps up its first season as it has impacted pop culture positively with its topics.
BK Chat LDN which has been a runaway hit has come to an end, at least the first season.
The last video for this season was uploaded yesterday, Wednesday, January 25, 2017, and it contained bloopers from the cast of the show.
The informal talk has been the total rave on social media, especially on Twitter. With babes on one side and blokes on one side, the show focuses on love, sex and relationships.
The uniqueness of the format and the cast members (most of them are British-Nigerians) who talk about any topic with little or no filter has attracted a lot of viewers.
Most of the episodes have over 400,000 views on YouTube. With over 2 million views overall and close to 100,00 subscribers, it would be right to call BK Chat LDN a phenomenon.
The show was created by Andy Amadi and it is refreshingly polarising in this era of political correctness. Lucas leads the pack when it comes to airing his views whether it pisses the women off or not.

Danielle Dash of Huffington Post UK believes Lucas Adefaya is a misogynist. "After six episodes it’s clear Lucas is a misogynist. From continuously calling the women on the panel “females” (see all episodes) to not allowing them to speak (see episode five) to calling sexually liberated women “junge“ and “sket“ etc (see episode six) lets me know this man does not respect women."
Whether or not you agree with this, we can all agree that Azryah Harvey is the darling of the show. Her exotic looks and confident aura have made her a fan favourite of the show.
Esther Falana, Gogo are popular also. Gogo is the articulate guy who tries to bring some sort of balance on both sides while Esther is the bubbly, vibrant one who brings flavour and humour to the discussion.
We can't wait for season 2. We hope that the break will be quick. We need BK Chat LDN now more than ever as it helps push the culture and drive the discussion on love, sex and relationships in the black community.
