The Minister for Sports Solomon Dalung is a man of many controversial words. The red beret-wearing minister is always capable of annoying Nigerians with his statement.

4) Seyi Shay
The beautiful singer is a woman of many blunders. In 2016 she made a lot from her mispronunciation of two on Pulse TV (shout out to Chuey), to her statement about Wizkid writing 'One Dance' for Drake.
However, her biggest blunder which was also a very top quote came in an interview with Hip TV. During 'Trending' on Hip TV, Seyi Shay was asked what does E.P mean. Surely a singer with international exposure would know the meaning. Seyi Shay surprisingly didn't know the right meaning and said: "Obviously E.P can stand for electric package" with confidence. Social media went hard on Seyi Shay for weeks.
5) Tekno
The Triple MG singer had a fantastic year due to his chart-topping and gravity defying single called 'Pana'. It was one of those songs you couldn't run away from in 2016.

"Guys, if you have a girlfriend... sometimes, you should allow your girlfriend cheat on you. Just small. Because we all cheat as guys. There is no way you can be with one girl. It's not possible" said the fleet-footed singer. Women loved Tekno the more after he said this.
6) Kiss Daniel
How old is Kiss Daniel? This was one of the biggest mysteries of 2016. After much controversy over his age, Kiss Daniel sat down with Ebuka on Rubbin Minds to thrash the issue out.
When asked how old he is, the star singer ducked the question and said his team would release a press statement soon concerning the matter.
"About the age stuff, my team we are putting out a press release on that. For now, I would love not to say anything. Because it's more than how old I am now" said Kiss Daniel. The singer was thoroughly mocked for his response. We are still waiting on the damn press release.

The former Super Eagles striker who was given the title 'Prince of Monaco' keeps Nigerians laughing with his smattering English and his horrible way with words.
It was a laughing matter on October 9, 2016, when during the match between Nigeria and Zambia he said: "Football is a men's sport, not a women's sport." Ikepba had to apologise for his words later on.
