The clergyman claimed that he is not the brain behind the MMM Nigeria scheme as was earlier rumoured.
South Africa based pastor, Ernest Mbanefo, has denied ownership of MMM Nigeria, a ponzi scheme that has had the attention of Nigerian citizens looking more income.
Earlier reports stated that the clergyman registered the MMM-Nigeria.net domain on June 7, 2016.
In a new interview with Concise News, Mbanefo claims that the only link he has with MMM Nigeria is the launching of the website.

He also mentioned that he has never met the global promoter of the ponzi scheme, Sergei Mavrodi.
“I do not own MMM Nigeria.
“The original website of MMM Nigeria is nigeria-mmm.net.
“All I’ve done is to use my knowledge of web designing to launch mmm-nigeria.net.
"I have never met Sergei Mavrodi before. Mavrodi does not even know about my activities in the MMM programme."
Despite the Central Bank of Nigeria's warning, many Nigerians have continued to patronize the scheme with the hope to get paid.
