Punch reports that the students of Isale-Oyo Community High School, Oyo Town, angered by the fact that many of them failed their exams, set some classrooms ablaze in protest.
It was gathered that the aggrieved students stormed the school premises on Thursday, October 27, 2016, chanting solidarity songs and went haywire when some teachers tried to prevent them from causing any havoc and set fire to blocks of classrooms before fleeing the school premises.

Seeing the damage the students had done, the school authorities alerted men of the State Fire Service who responded swiftly to put out the fire while policemen were deployed in the school to restore peace.
