According to these pictures posted by one of his aides on social media, the governor stopped by at a local eatery in a village called Gbajimba in Guma Local Government Area, where he enjoyed a meal of pap and fried bean cakes popularly called 'akara'.

He was not alone as he had for company the chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Reverend Dr. Philip Tachin and his close ally, Elder elder Sam Damayali.

Gov. Ortom is surely following in the footsteps of his counterpart from Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose who takes delight in stopping by roadside bukas where he gets down to business with the locals.
