Report says that the suspect used to work at the Mechanic Department of the NCS but got dismissed.
A fake Nigeria Customs Service officer (NCS), Ariyo Wasiu has been arrested by policemen in Agbara, Ogun State for defrauding unsuspecting people.
This was confirmed by Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state police Public Relations Officer, who stated that the suspect will be charged as soon as investigations are concluded.

“The dismissed officer was arrested while perfecting his act at a company in the Agbara area of the state.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect claimed that he was lured into duping as a result of the current harsh economic reality.
“Investigation have begun to determine the culpability or otherwise of the fake Assistant Comptroller of Customs.
“Charges would be filed after investigations", she said.
According to the Daily Post News, Wasiu was dismissed from the Mechanic Department of the NCS following acts of indiscipline.
