If you are a fan of musical shows like me, then you would agree that the last two episodes on Coke Studio 4 has been very intense, with so much fun and exciting moments.
Exciting moments that include our very own Kiss Daniel singing in Swahili like he owned the language, Bahati’s gospel version of “Woju” and the amazing creation of a fresh new sound by Flavour and Yuri Da Cunha right in front of the studio audience using Kitchen utensils, Yeah Kitchen utensils!
There was also the mind blowing covers by Patoranking and Vanessa Mdee for each other’s hit track “Forever” and “Cash Madame” respectively.
There original hit track “No 1 Baby”, which was produced by South African international award-winning producer, DJ Maphorisa had dance floors jumping.
And not to forget Cynthia Morgan who alongside Mastercraft and Ethiopia’s pride, Henok Mehari delivered remarkably well, when they were put “On the Spot” at the mercy of the studio audience who decided the key, tempo and song they performed to.
Meanwhile, big break artiste, Simi gave us the chill as she performed the remix of her popular song “Love Don’t Care” alongside Kenyan band, Sauti Soul and Congolese phenomenal artiste Fally Ipupa.
With 9 more episodes to go, Coke Studio 4 promises the freshest groundbreaking musical collaboration on the African Continent.
