The parents of the little girl were arrested following a report made by neighbours who were concerned about the child.
The Bayelsa Police Command have arrested the parents of a four-year-old girl, Goodness who was tortured with a hot boiling ring for bed wetting.
This made the child sustain second degree burns which left disturbing scars on her body, especially her leg.
According to reports, the injuries inflicted on the poor girl happened on daily basis, which made neighbours report the matter to the police.

The law officers soon responded by apprehending the father and step-mother of Goodness.
Spokesperson for the Bayelsa State Police Command, Asinim Butswat told the Daily Post that the girl's parents are being investigated, while the victim has been taken for medical care.
