A 20-year-old man, identified as Micheal Joseph, has been arraigned before the court on a lone charge of stealing iron clips worth N1500.
A staff of China Civil Engineering Construction Company, CCECC, has been arraigned before a Surulere Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos for the alleged theft of iron clips valued at N1,500.

The suspect identified as Michael Joseph, aged 20, was brought before the court on a lone count of stealing.
The prosecutor, Christopher Okoliko, disclosed to the court that the defendant committed the crime at the company’s office at Orile Iganmu, Lagos on September 3 at about 4.30 p.m.
Mr Okoliko who is a police sergeant said that the security guard at the gate of the company had found 10 pieces of iron clips valued at N150 each, in the accused's possession after the close of work.
Th defendant pled not guilty to the offence which the prosecutor noted contravened the Criminal Code Laws of Lagos State 2011.

M.I. Dan-Oni, the Chief Magistrate presiding over the case, granted the suspect bail in the sum of N20,000 with one surety in like sum. She explained that the surety must be a blood relation whose address has been verified and has evidence of tax payment.
