The accused, Emmanuel Adeyemi, was reported to have unlawfully buried four bodies without informing the local government council.
The Ikeja Magistrate's Court has arraigned a man, Emmanuel Adeyemi, 50, for allegedly chaining his step-son, as well as burying four dead bodies in his compound.
Adeyemi was put to the stand on Friday, September 9, 2016, where he was subsequently granted bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties in like-sum.

Rafael Donny, the prosecutor in the matter, told the court that the accused committed the offence around July and August 2016.
He was charged with deprivation of liberty and unlawful burial in his residence, which he pleaded not guilty to before Taiwo Akanni, the Chief Magistrate of the court.
According to the prosecutor, all the offences contravened sections 162(1) and 270 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
The case has been adjourned till October 10, 2016, for further hearing.
