Massive wreckage including the drowning of 30 cows, destructions of farmlands and bridges, have been recorded in Plateau State following a heavy downpour on Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
This occurred in the Jos East Local Government Area of the state, where communities were left to rue the damages.
Commenting on the incident, Hon. Joshua Madaki, who represents Jos East Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, said people have been disconnected from the council as a result of the wreckage.

To help set things back to how it used to be, he appealed on the state government and well meaning Nigerians to render assistance that can aid a quick restoration of the communities affected.
“The main roads connecting Fobur-Federe-Angware at Keven are badly washed away by the flood, including crops such as rice, yam among others.
“With the total collapse of roads, no heavy truck can pass through the area.
“And another issue is the Maza community road, which is disconnected and this has rendered the people helpless”, he said.
