Award winners will be expected to continue and develop the amazing work they are already doing in their communities.
Three young Nigerians, Olanrewaju Adeloye, Imrana Alhaji Buba and Olumide Femi Makanjuola, have done their country proud by becoming some of the recipients for the 2016 Queen’s Young Leaders Award.
The award ceremony recognises innovative minds from the 53 Commonwealth Nations, of which Nigeria is a member.

The award recognises and celebrates exceptional people aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth, who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives.
The programme shall feature a week long mentorship activity, where participants will have the opportunity to network with member states awardees.
By the end of this, the participants would have acquired more knowledge and support, in their bid to continue the impact they have had on their communities.
