Lagos seals 53 hotels for tax evasion

This eyewitness report was sent in by a Lagos State citizen who desperately needs the intervention of the appropriate authorities in his area.

I write this message as a concerned citizen of Nigeria and inhabitant of Gede-gege, behind Deeper Life Church, Ikota area of Ajah, Lagos.

Please! Sir, we need your help fast to help us with a way for water to flow in this area. Due to the creation of shortcut or road bypass in the area, the authority there have filled-up the channel through which water flows through with sand for vehicles to pass through, thereby causing backward flow of water into the streets and compounds.

The pictures attached were taken this morning, June 7, 2016, as it was rained. If not for God's intervention for stopping the rain as at the time am sending this mail, many property and lives may have been affected.

Please, help us with the creation channel for which the waters will flow easily and ease our pain of needing to wear rain boots every time it rains here, living in fear that our property may be damaged before we come back from work and sometimes we are even unable to go to work.

Sir, we are anticipating your prompt response.

God bless you sir, God bless Lagos State, God bless Nigeria.
