The parents of a new born baby with a strange medical condition beg Nigerians to help them raise funds for surgery.
The parents of a new baby who was born with the heart growing out of his body have cried out for help from the government and public spirited Nigerians to come to their aid to get the funds needed to undergo an urgent surgery on the poor child so he could live.

The baby who was born on June 5, at a local hospital at Gaidam Local Government Area of Yobe State, according to an Hausa News platform on Facebook, Rariya Hausa, was immediately rushed to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), for urgent medical attention.
Experts say the disorder is called Ectopia Cordis, a congenital malformation in which the heart is abnormally located either partially or totally outside of the thorax.

The ectopic heart can be found along a spectrum of anatomical locations, including the neck, chest, or abdomen.
