DuPage County State's Attorney in Illinois, Andrea Vazquez-Hernandez, 36, from Carol Stream, Illinois, has been charged with one count of aggravated battery, and one count of domestic battery after allegedly putting nail polish remover into the 17-month-old's baby bottle.
A woman has reportedly been arrested after poisoning her 17-month-old stepdaughter's milk with nail polish remover.

DuPage County State's Attorney in Illinois, Andrea Vazquez-Hernandez, 36, from Carol Stream, Illinois, has been charged with one count of aggravated battery, and one count of domestic battery after allegedly putting nail polish remover into the 17-month-old's baby bottle.
The police are reported to have revealed that they were called to the home of the Vazquez-Hernandez's by the baby's father on May 29, 2016, reporting the case pf a child who may have ingested nail polish remover.
Speaking with the father of the child, investigators reportedly reveal that the man had tried feeding his daughter the milk from the bottle, but she immediately spat it out.
The father went on to reveal that the baby started acting strange so he rushed his daughter to the hospital where after several tests, the baby was reported fine.
The investigators disclosed that at some point on that fateful day, Andrea had allegedly added approximately one-inch of nail polish remover to the baby's bottle of milk.

Following Andrea's arrest and court hearing, a judge has set her bail at $250,000 on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
