The pair identified as Mr and Mrs Joseph Msen Akosu were attacked and killed on Saturday, May 28, 2016, after which they had set the house on fire, burning their corpses beyond recognition.
News reports have revealed that a man and his wife have reportedly been burnt to death in their home in Benue State by unknown gunmen.

The pair identified as Mr and Mrs Joseph Msen Akosu were attacked and killed on Saturday, May 28, 2016, after which they had set the house on fire, burning their corpses beyond recognition.
The gruesome killings reportedly took place in Abinsi, Guma LGA of Benue State.
The reasons behind the dastardly act are yet to be clarified but it is being speculated that the attack had been as a result of some land disputes among the Tivs.
Security agencies are reported to have taken charge of the area in order to keep the peace, while the Chairman of Guma Local Government area is reportedly doing everything possible to bring the culprits to justice.
