This Nigerian man who beat his Cambodian wife could be deported

A Nigerian man living in Cambodia could soon be deported after he was arrested for beating his wife and injuring her.

A Nigerian man living in Cambodia, has been arrested by the authorities in that country for allegedly brutalizing his wife in a bar, reports Cambodiaexpatsonline.

It was gathered that the 48-year-old man identified by his adopted name, Mikiward Migerin, had gone to the at Candy Bar, located in Psa Kandal commune, in the Doun Penh district, on May 12, with his wife when an argument occurred between them and he assaulted the woman, causing injuries to her head. 

According to the report, Migerin and his wife were seen walking along the street and when they arrived at the bar, he hit his wife.

The woman decided to file a complaint, looking for help from the Psa Kandal1 commune police and her husband was arrested and has been sent to the Immigration Department for legal procedures and could possibly be jailed or deported.
