Purple 50/50: Who should set rules in a relationship?

Is the man in absolute control of an amorous relationship? Can a woman also have set ground rules in a relationship.

It is no secret that Nigeria ranks very low on the Gender Equality Index. I'd also wager that you know one or two women in abusive relationships.

Is a woman to cater to every whim of her man and take every word that comes out of his mouth as law? Is the woman a subordinate in a relationship that involves her?

The Purple 50/50 Challenge was created to challenge these sort of stereotypes and to enlighten Nigerians about gender issues.

Courtesy of the Purple 50/50 organisers, Pulse strivia team visited Kano, Kaduna, Lagos and Enugu, asking people the same question: "Who should set rules in a relationship?"
