According to Vanguard, Mortuary attendants at 44 years old hospital, Bomadi General Hospital, Bomadi in Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State, stack corpses on improvised wooden platforms after embalming and bizarrely abandon them to the vagaries of the weather, day and night.
This unfortunate occurrence is as a result of lack of the adequate capacity in the form of space to accommodate the corpses in the hospital.

A report by Niger Delta Voice during a visit to the morgue stated that the embalmed corpses in view were bare and no covering.
Workers at the hospital also revealed that they are under a constant pressure from their patients and sponsors due to the challenges they have faced while receiving health care from their centre.
