Here's What Neema Godwin, Miss Fotogenix Nigeria 2014 has to say about the "Pink Woman Project"
It is a beautiful thing when you walk down the road and people walk up to you to tell you how stunning you look. It is so easy for this to get into your head thinking from a singular perspective.
How we view ourselves take on a whole different form when we realise we actually did nothing to create the human form we ascribe as ourselves. Why are some born poor and others rich? Why are some created to be more exceedingly beautiful than some others?
When you begin thinking from that perspective, you unravel the world. You begin to know that we were created to complement one another, to support, to love, to give a hand, to hold a hand, to make a difference in the life of another person especially those not as fortunate as ourselves.
When we bring a person to a level they never knew they could reach, you open up their hearts to do the same for others causing a ripple effect of positive events circling across our world.
I realised it is not enough to wake up as a beauty queen, go to the gym, go for photo sessions, grace high profile events, model for products on billboards and commercials and then, you look back and still not find that fulfilment.
It will be too bad for me to see an average woman go through so many struggles without support from me and other successful women. Then, I pause and say it is time for change.
I am Neema, a model, a beauty queen and a social ambassador. I am championing a new cause for women in disadvantaged communities called The PinkWoman Project - a platform to boost the welfare of women through project activities which includes philanthropy, empowerment through business development and micro funding to increase family sustainability through women contributions.
Join me as I impact the life of one woman at a time.Pink Woman Project... touching a woman.
