GlobalGiving is a nonprofit organization that connect donates to grassroots projects around the world to make a high impact.
GlobalGiving connects individual and institutional donors directly to projects like ours around the world. Participating in this program, gives our foundation opportunity to raise funds to carry out trainings for youths in Nigeria.
The open challenge is a grate opportunity to join the global giving community.
The Open Challenge runs from June 1 - June 31, 2014. Through the Challenge, projects have the opportunity to earn an ongoing spot on the GlobalGiving website if they can mobilize supporters to raise US $5,000 from at least 40 unique donors during this time period.
Organizations that meet the minimum requirements of raising $5,000 from at least 40 unique donors automatically earn a spot on GlobalGiving. There will be additional awards for the projects that raise the most funds. We accept checks, in US dollars, drawn on banks in the US. All checks must be received by GlobalGiving by June 27, 2014. In addition, check donors must specify the name of the project on the check memo line in order for it to be properly attributed to your project.
