When the going was good: Psquare and May D in South Africa after signing with Universal Music
We may not have heard the last of the controversial split between pop singer May D and Psquare as multiple sources are saying the ‘evicted’ act is planning to sue his former bosses at Square Records.

A few weeks ago, Jude Okoye, head of Square Records and Northside Entertainment, released a statement terminating May D’s association with the label. His music videos were later taken off video sharing site YouTube.

When NET contacted May D
about the statement, he claimed he was unaware of the situation and wouldn’t be commenting further on the situation.

Sources are now saying May D plans to sue the record label whose current artistes are only the twins – Peter and Paul Okoye. May D is said to be working with a legal team which is advising him on what to do. It is believed he wants to press charges for ‘contract violation, amongst many other things’.

No word yet from him though, and his phone was switched off when we tried calling him to confirm details.

Insiders however have assured us that an official statement ‘will be released shortly’.
