Chidelb who witnessed the attack during a morning mass expressed that the assailants removed a man from the church.
A Twitter user identified as Chidelb shared an account of a horrible encounter with unknown gunmen who interrupted a church service in Imo state on Sunday, November 26, 2017, in a bid to abduct a male worshipper.
This brought to her mind a sad memory that saw father kidnapped and killed in December 2012.
Her immediate concern during the attack at the place of worship was if she was going to survive the attack which caused a stampede as some Christians tried to flee for their lives.
It made her question if the church should still be regarded as a place offering safety. She expressed hope concerning the freedom of the man who had to endure a grave amount of pummeling as he was being dragged off the premises into their getaway vehicle.
