Sodomy: Male teacher is soup for having anal sex with pupil in Oyo

A young man who makes a living a s teacher has been arrested for allegedly raping a male pupil through the anus.

A 20-year-old teacher, Collins Obi, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command after he was caught having homosexual sex with a 10-year-old male pupil.

Punch reports that the incident happened at the Asaka Itamaya area of Ibadan, the state capital, and the suspect was arrested by operatives of the Iyaganku Police Station after the victim's mother laid a complaint.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Adekunle Ajisebutu, in confirming the incident, said the suspect who was also an extra-mural class teacher to the victim, had lured the minor to a house in the neighbourhood where he raped him through the anus.

He was, however, arrested following a report made at the station by the victim’s mother after the boy had reported the incident to her.

According to SP Ajisebutu, during interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed to the crime and disclosed that he was introduced to sodomy by an older friend who is now at large.
