Robbers who robbed their employer along with gang members, have been arrested by the police.
Two robbers have been arrested by officers of the Ekiti State Police Command after stealing a Toyota Camry belonging to their employer in Ado Ekiti.
The commissioner of police, Mr Wilson Inalegwu, revealed that the robbers along with their gang members, attacked the house located at Ureje, along the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti on November 16, 2016 and robbed the family of their valuables, Daily Post reports.

Inalegwu said that following distress calls from residents of the area, he dispatched men of Special Anti-Robbery Squad to the scene of the robbery.
Daily Post reports that the items stolen during the robbery operation include a black Toyota Camry with Registration number LND 118 EA valued N1.5 million and one Infinix phone worth N50,000 .
The CP also explained that the SARS operatives trailed the suspects identified as: Ganiu Issa and Jamiu Idris to Isua Akoko in Ondo State, where they were arrested.
“Having received the distressed calls, my men went after these robbers as far as to Isua Akoko where two of them, who are now in our custody were arrested.
“The suspects admitted knowing the complainant having worked for him in his house . This shows that the two were employees of the man.

“I wish to use this medium to advise the public to be careful of the type of workers they employ.”
The suspects will be charged to court upon the completion of the investigation.
