When Kanye West heard the news, he cut his performance immediately in New York to contact his wife. While the Wests are spooked by the scary incident, some people online have been mocking Kim Kardashian's robbery incident.
Kim Kardashian is hardly the lovable celebrity online. Her success is polarising to the say the least. She is constantly bashed online. While the hate she receives is normal for a celebrity of her status, the apathy she has received over her ordeal has been saddening.

If we feel sympathetic to the average Joe who gets robbed, then Kim K deserves our sympathy too. There were jokes about her physical appearance and talent.
Kim Kardashian is a daughter, wife and mother. Her robbery incident could have turned a whole lot of worse. She could have been killed or murdered. When you think about it likes this, then there is really no place for the humour and backlash.
Some people are saying the jewel heist was a stunt. Despite Kim's family penchant for creating unnecessary drama, this is the real deal. While it is good to have bants on Twitter, sometimes we need to unleash our basic instincts and be sympathetic to all people.
