A member of a kidnap gang that abducted a primary school pupil in Benue State was arrested in the act and given the beating of his life.
It was a lucky day for a primary school girl identified as Msendo Liamuza, in the Aliade community of Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State after she was rescued by men of the Community Joint Task Force (CJTF), after a kidnapping gang tried to rescue her.

But it was not so good for one of the kidnappers, Aondolumum Nyimkaan, who was nabbed while others escaped from the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, Nyimkaan had gone into the premises of the St. Michael’s Nursery and Primary School, Aliade, while his gang members waited outside the school.
After snatching the child, Nyimkaan allegedly tried to flee through the bush to meet with his gang members when some members of the community saw him and raised an alarm which brought CJTF men who went after him and arrested him in the bush.

On interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed to having successfully kidnapped children in Igbor of Gwer East and Gboko Local Governments of the state.
