The Anti-Robbery Squad in Warri have killed four robbery suspects during a shootout in Delta state.
Four suspected armed robbers have been gunned down in a shootout with operatives of the Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force, “A” Division in Warri South Local Government Area, on Monday, September 26.

The suspects were gunned down in the incident which took place around the popular Ekpen, near Okere market roundabout at about 3pm in Warri.
One of the suspected armed robbers killed in the shootout has been identified as Ovie who many believe to spearhead kidnapping, rape, armed robbery.
The reports reveal that the suspected armed robbers, trailed an unidentified man, with a dark blue Passat Car, with Registration number FKJ 385 CV (Lagos) after he made a withdrawal of about N126,000 from a commercial bank, Daily Post reports.
The police reportedly acted on a distress call made by the Area Commander in Warri, ACP Muhammed Mu’Azu, who later gave details to the Outgoing Divisional Police Officer of “A” Division, ACP Ukoh Nkereuwem.
The suspected armed robbers reportedly opened fire on the police, engaging them in a shootout which lasted for about an hour, in their bid to escape.

The police are reported to have chase them down and intercepted them after which items including two locally made cut to size guns, cartridges, two expended bullets and cash amounting to N26,000.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Celestina Kalu confirmed the report without giving details.
