A man believed to be in his early 30s have been lynched to death by an angry mob at the Kejetia market in the Ashanti regional capital Kumasi for attempted robbery.
The deceased who is yet to be identified was beaten with life-threatening objects after attempting to pick-pocketing a man who was buying items at the Kejetia market on Thursday, August 4.

According to an eyewitness Fred Nyame, who spoke on a Kumasi-based Ultimate Radio, the suspect was spotted wearing a torn black dress stained with blood after the incident.
“I believe he was one of the boys who solicit passengers for trotro mates,” he said

The lifeless body is yet to be conveyed to the hospital by the police.
Meanwhile, the Ashanti regional police command is yet to confirm the incident.
