According to Souto, the little boy pleaded with her to adopt after claiming that his mother often abuse him.
The police in Brazil have arrested a 23-year-old woman, Natasha Vitoriano Souto, who tried to sneak an 11-year-old boy using a suitcase.
The young lady claimed that the boy had approached her asking to be adopted.
Claiming to have been concerned, Souto said that she wanted to assist the boy who she mentioned was been abused by his mother.

She said, “I was going to take him to my house. I found him in the street in Botafogo near the traffic lights. He asked me ‘for the love of God, adopt me please”.
The woman now faces the possibility of going to prison for a period of six years if found guilty.
The boy, whose name was not closed has been placed under the care of the Guardianship Council.
